Couples in Covenant

The main objective of Couples in Covenant is to reach out to the married couples of Revealing Truth Ministries and equip them with truth in order that every marriage would experience victory and be “divorce proof”. Couples in Covenant teaches God’s Word on the marriage covenant. Through frequent fellowship and coming together a support system continually develops by married couples for married couples. The pastors and teachers within the department minister through sound counsel and pray for all Christian marriages. Because of the breakthrough and success experienced by couples within the ministry, Couples In Covenant has become a powerful tool for outreach to unbelieving married couples who are invited to our events. Gathering of Champions

The Gathering of Champions is a ministry created to minister to the unique needs of men. It is a ministry that builds and develops men to win in every area of their lives! This is accomplished through prayer, strong fellowship and opportunities to dig into the Word of God and find answers to the issues that our men face. As a result of IRON sharpening IRON, men are strengthened by one another’s faith.

Men’s Prayer is held every last Saturday of the month at 4:00pm. This is a time of prayer and impartation where men are built up and encouraged by one another’s faith.

We encourage all men to come and be a part of such an awesome time of accountability and strengthening. This invitation is open for members and non-members alike. If you bring a family member or a friend out to the meeting, you will leave with new brothers in Christ. We can’t wait to shake your hand and hug your neck. We look forward to seeing you in our next meeting.

Director: Frank Murphy

Children and Youth Ministries

Children, Middle School, High School & College

Frontline – Youth Development Ministry

Frontline is an exciting and growing youth ministry for children ranging from ages 6 weeks through middle school, and our vision is to build children to be champions in life. We call it Frontline because the most crucial time for our development as men and women is when we are young. The spiritual battle begins from infancy and we are committed to training and equipping our children to win the battles set before them in life. And though that sounds very serious, at Frontline we never forget that our audience is children who all have a variety of talents and interests. That is why we endeavor to move beyond the classroom and provide fun and interesting avenues for children to grow stronger in God. All of our extracurricular activities focus on 3 basic objectives: having fun, learning to love God and building healthy relationships

If you are one of the hundreds of youth that we serve weekly, here are some things you can participate in:

Frontline Youth Choir- Comprised of children ranging from elementary school through middle school, the Frontline Youth Choir stands as nearly 100 children lifting up the name of the Lord in song. They minister in all types of music from classic gospel to Christian rap and hip-hop.

Frontline Mentors- Focused on our middle school age group, this program aims to solidify our relationships with this critical age of young people by pairing up mentors who take the initiative to get to know the children, what’s important to them and are there to do life with them as a friend and counselor.

Below are our service times. Please be advised that space is limited so be sure to arrive before the service times for availability.

VIP – Middle School Ministry

Do you have a PROGRESSive VISION for middle school youth?  Well, we do.  The name of our Frontline middle school ministry is V.I.P. (Vision In Progress).  In Frontline-V.I.P. (or simply “V.I.P.”), a young person doesn’t have to come to church knowing what they want to be when they grow up or understanding their calling.  Why?  Because the church is the institution where a young person should discover their calling and purpose in life. V.I.P. is a place where we implement the Living Word of God beyond just the classroom, stand-up-and-teach approach. Here, we incorporate fun, innovative, creative, and diverse ways to reach and teach the whole child.  We create an opportunity for each child to experience an intimate encounter with God and not just a trip to church.

We call it Frontline because the most crucial time for our development as men and women is when we are young.  The spiritual battle begins from infancy, and we are committed to training and equipping our children to win the battles set before them in life.  Now, all of this sounds deeply serious, and, quite frankly, it is; but here in V.I.P., we never forget that our audience is children, all of which have a variety of talents and interests. For that purpose, all of our extracurricular activities focus on 3 basic objectives: having fun, learning to love God and building healthy, long-term relationships.

Dear Adults/Leaders: J. Carl Northcutt said, “The goal of many leaders is to get people to think more highly of the leader. The goal of great leaders is to help people think more highly of themselves.”  If this is you, and you burn with the desire to progress this vision for our youth, come by and see us in V.I.P. We will be happy to talk about the various opportunities to serve. For example, you may become one of our Frontline Mentors, a program that aims to solidify our relationships with this critical age of young people by pairing up mentors who take the initiative to get to know the children, what’s important to them, and are there to do life with them as a friend and counselor.

Dear V.I.P. Youth: If you are one of the hundreds of youth that we serve weekly, and are interesting in getting more involved, consider the V.I.P Youth Leadership Team.  In a purposed pursuit to give our youth not only full ownership of their ministry but also provide a avenue where their input and decisions are heard, we’ve created a President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer office. These roles are created to be the voice of the teens and provide insight on field trips, outings, specific café items, and other things desired by the middle school youth.

Below are our service times. Please be advised that space is limited so be sure to arrive before the service times for availability.

CSM – Youth Ministry

What is at your CORE? Core Student Ministries (CSM) is all about developing the inner you so that you can become all that God has designed you to be. We have created a charged atmosphere where our High School students can come and discover God in their own terms and in a way that is relevant to them. We are all about being clear! Once you have God at the Core of who you are, then every decision, every action, every desire, and every thought will revolve around and be directed by what is at your Core…God!

CSM is all about high school students. We are focused on helping them form a meaningful and relevant relationship with God. We accomplish this through relationships and activities. Here at CSM, we believe that it is important that our youth understand that they have people who care about them and are available to meet their needs. By building lifelong mentor relationships with our youth, we are able to assist in meeting their needs now and well into their adult years. We host a variety of activities here at CSM that our youth can participate in. We offer outings to theme parks, concerts, as well as community service events. There is something for just about everyone.

There are several ways that youth can get involved here at CSM. If you are one of the one hundred High School youth that we serve weekly, you can find your place at CSM.

If you are an adult, and you have a passion for helping young people reach their God-given potential, we have a place for you. Be sure to stop by The Core to discover what we are all about!

KC2, where Passion meets Purpose

Desire. Excitement. Hunger. Enthusiasm. Zeal. These are emotions experienced during college years. College students are constantly searching, questioning and examining themselves, their surroundings, their goals, their experiences, their beliefs, their values and their relationships. In short, college students are filled with an activity, energy and curiosity that can be described in one word – PASSION! The mission of KC² is to ensure that every student who becomes a member of KC², graduates and accomplish the will of God for their lives, no matter where they decide to go after graduation. We are a ministry where passion meets purpose!!! By focusing on the areas below, KC2 facilitates the growth and development of college students.

Fellowship- Students need and desire to relax and have a social outlet to bring about balance in their lives. KC² provides an atmosphere where students can build relationships with others who share the same Christian values and lifestyle through activities such as movies, picnics, beach parties, and other social events.

Spiritual Growth- Students, like most people, desire to know why they exist and what they are supposed to be doing. KC² encourages students to foster Christ-likeness by reading and living by the Word of God daily. This is achieved through campus Bible studies (Living in Truth), prayer, special services and conferences.

Academic Success- Students enroll in an institution of higher education with the desire to graduate and be successful in life. KC² assists students in attaining their degrees while at the same time highlighting the importance of forming and developing lifelong success habits. This is enhanced by events such as our annual “Steps to Success” conference, “College Kickoff” in addition to relevant seminars and workshops.

KC² has many available opportunities to serve.  For more information, contact Deacon R.T. Mitchell.

General meetings are held on Saturdays on the USF Tampa Campus at 9:30am in the USF Marshall Center. For more information please contact us via email or on Facebook or at 813-495-0552.

Outreach Ministries

RTM Prison Ministry, Nursing Home, Family Connections

RTM Prison Ministry

The Prison Ministry is dedicated to state prisons and county jails within the Tampa Bay area. Our goal is to minister to inmates inside the prisons, explain the importance of being saved (Romans 10:9-10), and build them up over a period of time, so that they may be able to transition into the church outside of those walls.  We will accomplish this by delivering the Gospel and revealing the truth through the Word of God. As we partner with the local prison and jail systems, we pray that the inmates that have been impacted by the Body of Christ will follow the correct path for their lives and never return to the activities that put them in their current circumstance.

Our local jail ministry is a little different. Individuals that are incarcerated only have an average of 23 days at the county jail, so the turnover is high. We reach new individuals every week. We get a chance to minister to those that will be entering back into society relatively quickly. So, they have an opportunity to plug into a local church within weeks and sometimes days after we minister to them. The prison ministry has partnered up with the Hillsborough County Sheriff Department and has held 244 services per year, with an average of 2 people being born-again each service, which equates to 488 new born-again each year.

This ministry is a great training ground for preaching and teaching the Word of God. The inmates are so grateful to hear the Word of God and we have seen lives changed.  We are always looking for people who have a desire to minister to open-hearted inmates within prison walls. Every member that enters the prison will be trained and introduced slowly to the process with a group of other members. This is done, in order that they will become comfortable and feel safe in their surroundings at all times.

Serving in the Prison Ministry will cause you to grow to new levels of confidence. There is also a Correspondence Ministry that allows those that are not able to enter the facility to still do the work of ministry by writing and responding to letters from inmates.  By answering their questions in writing, we can provide encouragement to those in need. Director: Deacon Nathan DeChelbor

RTM Nursing Home Ministry

There is no better way to become connected with the concept of ministry than with Revealing Truth Ministries’ Nursing Home Ministry. This ministry has developed a rich heritage of strong leadership, outstanding teachings, and compassion for those we serve. Our worship services are a welcome addition to the lives of many nursing home residents. It is our work and honor to spread the love and message of Jesus Christ to nursing home residents.  We attribute the success of this ministry to the commitment to fasting and prayer on the Sundays that we serve, as we follow the vision of Revealing Truth Ministries.  In the Nursing Home Ministry, we believe in edifying the body, soul, and mind to the will of the Lord Jesus Christ. Director: Olivia Charmicheal-Brown
